According to the US Federal Gazette, on October 25, 2019, the US Environmental Protection Agency issued Regulation 2019-23380 to amend the residue limits of fenbuconazole in tea products.

The US Environmental Protection Agency conducted a risk assessment on its toxicity, carcinogenicity, etc., and concluded that the following residue limits are safe.

According to the regulation, nitrilazole is not registered for use in tea in the United States.
