Chemical Analysis Instruments
Infrared Spectrometer: Used for rapid qualitative analysis of the components and structures of organic additives, such as carboxylic acids, hydroxyl groups, and amine compounds. It can also detect absorption peaks of inorganic additives.
Liquid Chromatograph: Suitable for separating and determining the components and concentrations of organic additives. It is ideal for analyzing compounds with different functional groups, such as sugars, amino acids, fatty acids, alkaloids, and peptides, whether they are colorless or colored.
Mass Spectrometer: Determines the composition, structure, and molecular weight of organic additives using mass spectra. It also identifies molecular structures and fragmentation peaks.
Physical Analysis Instruments
Differential Scanning Calorimeter: Measures physical property changes in synthetic materials caused by factors such as temperature, time, and pressure. This helps understand how additives influence the performance of synthetic materials and optimize their usage.
Raman Spectrometer: Used to detect nuclear magnetic resonance and molecular structures in organic or inorganic additives. It is particularly significant for studying novel additives and their degradation products.
