The DMA/SDTA 1+ is equipped with a unique measurement system that simultaneously records both force and displacement, enabling highly accurate determination of storage modulus, loss modulus, and loss factor (tan δ). This dual-measurement capability improves data reliability across a wide range of materials.
With a force range from 1 mN to 40 N, the instrument is capable of testing materials ranging from soft elastomers to rigid engineering polymers and composites. Its exceptionally broad frequency range of 0.001 to 1000 Hz allows experiments to simulate real operating conditions or accelerate material characterization through high-frequency testing.
The patented SDTA™ (Simultaneous Differential Thermal Analysis) technology enhances temperature accuracy while monitoring thermal events throughout mechanical analysis. In addition, the instrument's extensive stiffness range enables continuous characterization of a material from the glassy state through softening and into the liquid-like region within a single experiment.
