SAXS, Small-Angle X-ray Scattering, is a non-destructive method for investigating nanostructures from 1nm to 200nm in size. SAXS results are representative of an entire sample, thus providing supplementary structural information for the XRD, wide-angle X-ray scattering (WAXS), and electron microscopy data. SAXSpace is a compact lab-scale system for SAXS and WAXS studies with a brilliant block collimation system ensuring an intense X-ray beam for very short measurement times. It determines the size, size distribution, and shape of nano-sized particles and sample domains and is especially suited for analyzing isotropic, colloidal, and biological samples (BioSAXS).
