The DM4000M is made up of two specific lenses, an objective lens and an eyepiece. Double magnification by objective and eyepiece, the object can be magnified to a specific multiple. It can be imaged through the objective lens, eyepiece and also the camera.
DM4000M can be used to identify and analyze the organization of various materials as well as the quality inspection and control of a series of production processes in inspection, casting, pressure processing, heat treatment of raw materials. It can also be applied to the development and use of new materials and new technologies.
The materials microscope can be used with all common incident light contrast methods. It operates with a mechanical Z-drive (optional motorized Z-drive) and mechanical stage.
The 6-position mechanical objective turret with M32 thread is coded. In combination with automatic recognition of the contrast technique, the light intensity automatically adjusts to the objective in use. The brightness of the image remains constant when switching to a different magnification. These features allow you to concentrate on your work while the contrast and light manager automatically adjust the microscope for the best image quality.
Also available with a 6"x 6" stage for microelectronic inspection.
Superior image quality with LED illumination
The ultra-bright LED illumination is perfectly integrated in the microscope automation and suitable for all contrasting methods. The LED provides a constant color temperature at all intensity levels. With at least 50.000 hours lifetime the LED illumination is cost-effective, as frequent bulb exchanges are no longer necessary.
Automated contrast and light intensity setting
The motorized incident light axis provides automatic contrast adjustment for bright field, dark field, polarization, interference contrast, and fluorescence. The microscope detects the selected objective and contrast method, and then automatically sets the optimal values for aperture, field diaphragm, and light intensity. You can adjust these values at any time and the modified values are automatically stored.
Six function keys
Assign any function to the six function keys, which are located behind the focus knobs - frequently used functions are always within easy reach, without having to look away from the specimen.
Clearly arranged display
The easy-to-read status display shows all microscope settings at a glance – a convenience unmatched in this class of microscope.
4-position reflector turret
The 4-position incident light turret has two fixed and two variable positions. Additional reflectors or fluorescence filter cubes can easily be placed through the front cover.
Microscope assistant
With the integrated Microscope Assistant, you benefit from the ease and efficiency of full digital integration of microscope, illumination, and microscope camera.
