The Olympus microscope BX61 is a research-grade upright metallographic microscope that uses the world's leading UIS2 infinity-corrected optical system to provide perfect images with high contrast, high brightness, high definition and high contrast. It has high signal-to-noise ratio (S/N) and high light transmittance, and is available in a variety of lighting modes (light and dark field electric conversion illuminators and universal illuminators with up to 6-component light mirrors. Built-in motorized aperture diaphragm). The calibration range of the BX61 spectrum has been extended from UV (ultraviolet) to IR (infrared), and it has excellent performance for microscopic observation. Electric control dimming, focusing and reflection transmission switching are used.
Applications
The microscope can be applied to biomedicine, nanometer materials, microelectronics. Observe cell division, distinguish chromosome and local fluorescence, sequence DNA or RNA.

Strengths
Motorized Operation: With the BX61 microscope, complex operation settings such as illumination level, lens selection and aperture setting, can operate from a single key, either on the microscope keypad or with software.
Laser-autofocus: For fast and reproducible focusing, the BX61 can be fitted with theU-AFA2M* autofocus unit. Utilizing an active multispot laser, the autofocus can be used with a wide variety of samples providing fast and reproducible active tracking focusing. The autofocus (U-AFA2M) is compatible with bright field, dark field, differential interference contrast (DIC), and simple polarized-light observations.
Automated 3D Image Creation (EFI): Using the BX61, users can quickly acquire and combine images for samples that extend beyond the depth of focus. The EFI image combines all of the individual focus levels into a single 3D image at the touch of a button. The resulting 3D data set can be used for 3Dvisualization or simple measurements of heights and distances.
