Rapid modernization and development of manufacture industries, such as the pharmacy, food and routine consume goods have thrown unprecedented challenges to the protecting of our environment from air pollution and improvement of public health. Since air represents one of the basic substances for the survival of mankind and maintaining the health of ecosystem, increasingly severe atmospheric contamination in worldwide should be taken into particular consideration. However, its characteristics of invisible and colorlessness have brought scientists an enormous challenge to address the air pollution related issues. Alfa Chemistry has recognized that while most people spend a large amount of time indoors or in relatively sealed places, they are exposed to a variety of chemicals that can lead to substantial short or long-term health effects. It's key to protect them from occupational disease which is caused by their work environment. Our experts also have experiences in Ambient Air Testing, Soil Gas and Vapor Intrusion Programs, Landfill Gas Analysis, Industrial Plant Environmental Monitoring, etc. Thanks to the advanced analytical techniques and equipment possessed by Alfa Chemistry , we can deliver fast and consistent data under ASTM, EPA NIOSH, ISO and other analytical methods in line with EPA (United State Environmental protection Agency) Standards, an official department of USA government.

We take pride in meeting the needs of our customers. No matter what your concern is, we are always ready to help.
Combined with a suit of top-notch analytical platforms and methods, scientists from Alfa Chemistry can assist you carry out a comprehensive ambient air measurement. Additionally, a variety of EPA and other agency approved methods are available in our laboratory for supporting your Indoor Air Quality research.
Formaldehyde is a colorless, flammable gas at room temperature and has a strong odor. Exposure to formaldehyde may cause adverse health effects. Formaldehyde can cause irritation of the skin, eyes, nose, and throat. High levels of exposure may cause some types of cancers.
We can analyze your Vapor Intrusion samples using EPA Method TO-15 in either SCAN mode or for lower reporting limits in SIM mode depending on your project needs. Indoor air concentrations estimated from soil gas or groundwater concentrations by fate and transport models for vapor intrusion and/or measured indoor air concentrations are used in the assessment.
Air pollutants, also known as toxic air pollutants or air toxics, are those pollutants that are known or suspected to cause cancer. Alfa Chemistry helps finding the emissions on air toxics that present the greatest threat to indoor public health. Health risk information on air toxics are presented in our Air Toxics Assessment to meet your demands.
Molds are usually not a problem indoors, unless mold spores land on a wet or damp spot and begin growing. Molds have the potential to cause health problems. Molds produce allergens (substances that can cause allergic reactions) and irritants. Alfa Chemistry provides information and guidance for homeowners or managers on how to clean up residential mold problems and how to prevent mold growth.
Asbestos is the name given to a number of naturally occurring fibrous silicate minerals mined for properties such as thermal insulation, chemical and thermal stability, and high tensile strength. All types of asbestos fibers are known to cause serious health hazards in humans. We serve to educate homeowners about the dangers of exposure to asbestos and how to deal with asbestos home.

Radon is a gaseous radioactive element having the symbol Rn which is the number one cause of lung cancer among non-smokers, according to EPA estimates. Alfa Chemistry provides a qualified radon service professional to test your home or industry or solve your questions about a radon measurement or radon pollution.
Recently, there has been an increased national awareness and growing concern for formaldehyde gas being released from manufactured laminated flooring and other composite wood products. Formaldehyde gas is highly toxic and a confirmed human carcinogen. Even at lower exposure levels, some of the possible health problems related to VOC exposure can include: eye, nose & throat irritation, headaches & nausea, skin irritation. Alfa Chemistry can assist you with formaldehyde testing and analysis to help you better evaluate the potential formaldehyde hazards using EPA IP-6C as passive samplers to measure Formaldehyde.

Alfa Chemistry can help you plan and carry out air quality research, including selecting a proper method to use; calculating the amount of sample to be collected; selecting the correct sampling media for the application; providing method reporting limits; providing Industrial Hygiene VOC and Carbonyl measurement experience using EPA methods.
Isotope abundance refers to the relative content of various isotopes of elements present in nature. Alfa Chemistry is capable of isotope analysis in air, such as determining the isotope abundance ratio of lead in atmospheric particulates, isotope abundance detection of C, N, O and S.
With all the air testing problems you've been worried about, Alfa Chemistry will provide you with a one-stop solution for your peace of mind. Alfa Chemistry ' air testing service will create a safe, comfortable and healthy working and living environment for you.
