With the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the demand for the candy market is further expanding. Nowadays, almost all confectionery manufacturers produce sweet products that are colorful with an attempt to increase consumers' appetite and desire for purchase. These bright colors of candy come from colorants. In addition to sweets, many other foods, whether heated, exposed, or oxidized, also add coloring agents so as to maintain bright colors and attract more consumers. Due to its low cost, bright colors, and good coloring power, synthetic pigments are currently used in most food. However, synthetic pigments are toxic, diarrheal, and carcinogenic. The amount of synthetic colorant to be added is strictly controlled. In addition, the use of other confectionery additives is also subject to strict state regulations. Therefore, candy analysis is essential for both confectionery manufacturers to comply with FDA standards and for consumers out of safety concerns. Alfa Chemistry can provide accurate analysis to erase your worries about candies.
