Application
The Shi-Yu MPAA Ligand is designed to serve as a highly effective chiral ligand in asymmetric palladium-catalyzed alkylation reactions. By facilitating the alkylation of compounds like diphenyl(2-pyridyl)methane and isopropyl pyridines with alkyl boronic acids, it enables enantioselective activation of both C(sp2)-H and C(sp3)-H bonds. Additionally, Shi-Yu MPAA Ligand has been demonstrated by Yu and colleagues to enhance enantioselective C-H activation in cyclopropanes via coupling with organoboron reagents through palladium-mediated catalysis.
