Acaricides Residue Testing Service
Broad-spectrum, contact-killing acaricides can be used to control a variety of plant-eating harmful mites, and have good effects on the entire growth period of the mites, namely eggs, young mites, nymphs and adult mites. It also has an obvious quick killing effect on adult mites in the moving stage. Many countries have set limits for acaricides in foods such as fruits, vegetables, and meat. For example, for benzfenox, the United States requires a limit of 0.15mg/kg for tomato and 0.05mg/kg for meat. Canada stipulates 0.5mg/kg in apples. Japan's "positive list system" specifies the limit requirements for various acaricides in various foods in detail.
Food acaricide residue testing can ensure the health and safety of consumers and facilitate the testing of products import and export. Alfa Chemistry has developed universal rapid detection technologies suitable for multi-residue pesticides in different food matrices, and can provide acaricides residue testing services for manufacturers, enterprises, and government organizations. We strictly abide by the quality assurance/quality control plans and regulatory requirements of each country and region to provide you with support. Including but not limited to the following standards and methods: ISO, FDA/BAM, ASTM, AOAC, EU regulations, LFGB, DGCCRF, DM, JFSL, GB/T and SN.

Acaricides Residue Testing Service Technology Platform
- Sample preparation method:
The QuEChERS methodology.
Accelerated solvent extraction.
Ultrasonic assisted extraction.
- Gas chromatography - Electron capture detector (GC-ECD)
The GC-ECD method has high sensitivity. The detection of acaricides pesticide residues is mostly carried out by GC with electronic capture detector (ECD). The limit of detection (LOD) is about 0.20 μg/kg. The limit of quantification (LOQ) is approximately 0.25 μg/kg - 1 μg/kg. According to different acaricides, the specific LOD and LOQ values are different.
* When analyzing multiple compounds, it is necessary to ensure that all compounds can be baseline separated on the gas chromatograph, otherwise qualitative and quantitative cannot be achieved.
- Gas chromatography - Triple quadrupole mass spectrometry (GC-MS /MS)
The LOD is about 2.0 μg/kg, and the LOQ is approximately 5.0 μg/kg. According to different acaricides, the specific LOD and LOQ values are different.
- Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS)
The limit of quantification of tetrafenazine, fenazafen, heidiafen, etoconazole, and spirofendate is 3.0 μg/kg. The limit of quantification of coumaphos, pyridaben, and mitrate is 1.5μg/kg. The limit of quantification for pyraclostrobin is 2.0 μg/kg. The limit of quantification of fenpyroximate is 2.5 μg/kg.
