MPMS system consists of a base system and a variety of measurement and expanded options. The base system includes magnet power supply, system control electronics, computer control system, shielded nitrogen jacketed dewar and pump console. MPMS3 represents the culmination of more than 30 years of development and design in the world of SQUID magnetometry, which major advances in data acquisition, temperature control and magnetic field control with ≤ 10-8 emu sensitivity.
The magnetic sensitivity of the MPMS system can be as high as 10-9 emu, and the measurement temperature range of the base system is < 1.9 k – 400 k. It can be used for the test of the initial magnetization curve, hysteresis loop, zero field cooling, magnetic moment, magnetic resistance, and other projects.
