Detection of harmful heavy metals is one of the routine monitoring items of ecological textiles. With the popularization of the concept of green consumption, consumers and enterprises have paid more and more attention to the safety and health performance of textiles, ecological textiles have become the mainstream of the market, and the analysis of heavy metal residues in textiles has received more and more attention. The sources of heavy metals in textiles mainly include: some dyes and auxiliaries and metal complexing agents used during processing; natural fiber raw materials enrich the heavy metals in the surrounding environment during the growth process. The cumulative toxicity of heavy metals in textiles to the human body is quite serious. The heavy metals entering the body not only pose a direct hazard to health, but when the heavy metals in the body reach a certain level, they can cause irreversible huge damage to the body. Especially for some groups, such as the growth and development of children, the damage caused by heavy metals is greater than that of adults. Alfa Chemistry extracts heavy metals by use of artificial acidic sweat solution according to ISO 105-E04 (testing solution Ⅱ) to detect the content of heavy metals in textiles.
