Technology Center

Alfa Chemistry has a specialized technical center to provide high quality products and services to our customers. Our technical center is equipped with a variety of sophisticated testing instruments, including high performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC), gas chromatograph (GC), atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS), ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer (UV-Vis), thin layer chromatography (TLC), evaporative light scattering detector (ELSD), trace moisture analyzers, potentiometric titrator, and more. In addition, we have conditions for microbiological analysis.

Our Main Instruments

HPLC

HPLC

HPLC is a versatile, stable and widely used analytical technique. It can be used to separate components in plant extracts and to identify and quantify specific components within them, leading to an accurate understanding of the sample.

GC

GC

GC is an analytical technique used to separate and detect the chemical components of a sample mixture to determine their presence or absence and quantity. It is used for the separation and detection of volatile components in plant extracts.

AAS

AAS

AAS is a spectroanalytical procedure for quantitative analysis of elements based on the absorption of characteristic radiation by free atoms in the gaseous state. It is mainly used for the analysis of trace and micro components in plant extracts.

UV-Vis

UV-Vis

UV-Vis is a method of analyzing and detecting certain substances by using their molecules to absorb radiation in the spectral region of 10-800nm. It is used for the qualitative and quantitative determination of organic and inorganic substances in plant extracts.

TLC

TLC

TLC is a chromatographic technique for separating components in non-volatile mixtures. It is used to characterize plant extracts and allows the identification and evaluation of different plant compounds for their antioxidant, antibacterial and antifungal activities, etc.
