Recently, the treatment of eye diseases with oligonucleotide therapeutics has attracted wide attention in the medical field. For example, antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) were initially approved for treating cytomegalovirus retinitis, and they are currently being investigated as a treatment modality for many eye diseases, including inherited retinal disorders (IRD), inflammatory response and wound healing after glaucoma surgery, and macular degeneration[1]. Oligonucleotides offer new ideas for the treatment of many eye diseases and are expected to benefit mankind in the future.
Alfa Chemistry specializes in human eye health. We are developing oligonucleotide therapeutics for the treatment of eye diseases, and the following are a few examples of our products in development. If you are also interested in oligonucleotide therapeutics and the related technology and services, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to explore the potential of oligonucleotides in the treatment of eye diseases with you.
