Description
Trypsin NZs-BE-A028 is a serine-type proteolytic enzyme composed of a single polypeptide chain containing 223 amino acid residues. It possesses high substrate specificity, is readily soluble in water, facilitating its use in aqueous systems, while remaining insoluble in organic solvents such as trichloromethane, ethanol, ether, and glycerin. It exhibits optimal catalytic activity within a pH range of 8.0-9.0, indicating its suitability for mildly alkaline processing conditions. In terms of stability, this trypsin demonstrates notable resistance under strongly acidic conditions; for example, short-term exposure to boiling at pH 1.8 results in minimal loss of activity. However, under alkaline conditions, elevated temperatures can induce denaturation and lead to protein precipitation, thereby reducing enzymatic activity. Calcium ions play a beneficial role in maintaining enzyme stability. They not only help protect trypsin from structural degradation but also enhance its catalytic performance.

Applications
- Wound debridement and therapeutics: Due to its ability to selectively hydrolyze denatured proteins, trypsin is used in enzymatic debridement formulations to remove necrotic tissue, thereby promoting wound healing and tissue regeneration.
- Cell culture: It is extensively applied in cell culture processes for the detachment of adherent cells, enabling efficient cell harvesting and subculturing in vaccine production and biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Protein hydrolysate production: It is used to hydrolyze proteins from animal and plant sources (such as meat, fish, soy, and dairy), producing peptides and amino acids that improve digestibility, flavor, and nutritional value.
Storage
Store the product in a tightly sealed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated environment. It should be protected from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture to maintain its stability and enzymatic activity. Always ensure the container is properly closed after each use to prevent contamination and activity loss. During storage, slight sedimentation may occur due to the natural characteristics of the product. This is a normal phenomenon and does not affect its quality, performance, or effectiveness.
