Description
Lipase NZs-BE-D004 is a high-performance enzyme preparation produced through the submerged fermentation of carefully selected microbial strains, followed by advanced purification and formulation technologies. This powder-form lipase exhibits excellent catalytic activity for the hydrolysis of triglycerides into glycerol and free fatty acids under mild processing conditions. It also catalyzes esterification and interesterification reactions, making it a versatile biocatalyst for both food and industrial applications. The enzyme performs efficiently across a broad temperature range of 30-50 °C, and remains active in a wide pH range, particularly under neutral to mildly alkaline conditions. Its outstanding stability, high catalytic efficiency, and environmentally friendly characteristics make it an ideal alternative to traditional chemical processing methods.

Applications
- Baking industry: Lipase NZs-BE-D004 enhances dough stability, improves gluten strength, and optimizes dough handling characteristics. It contributes to a finer and more uniform crumb structure, increases loaf volume, enhances crust color and gloss, and produces softer, fresher baked products with extended shelf life. When combined with enzymes such as xylanase, fungal α-amylase, or glucose oxidase, even greater synergistic improvements in baking performance can be achieved.
- Leather processing: In leather manufacturing, lipase NZs-BE-D004 is highly effective for enzymatic degreasing and leather softening. It removes natural fats uniformly and efficiently while minimizing the need for harsh chemicals. The enzyme improves leather softness, reduces wrinkles, increases processing yield, and contributes to higher-quality finished leather. It is particularly effective when used together with alkaline protease during the softening process.
- Animal feed: The enzyme improves lipid digestion by hydrolyzing fats into more readily absorbable fatty acids and glycerol. This enhances nutrient utilization, increases feed conversion efficiency, improves feed palatability, and supports healthier growth and overall animal performance.
- Papermaking industry: Lipase is widely used for pitch control in mechanical pulping and recycled paper production. It effectively decomposes resin deposits, improves deinking efficiency, reduces equipment fouling, minimizes downtime, and enhances overall papermaking productivity and paper quality.
- Biodiesel and oil processing: The enzyme catalyzes esterification and transesterification reactions, making it suitable for biodiesel production and specialty lipid modification. It offers sustainable and energy-efficient alternative to conventional chemical catalysts while improving product selectivity and reducing by-product formation.
Application Rate
The recommended dosage is 0.01-0.5 kg per ton of dry substrate. The optimal application rate should be determined according to the specific application, raw material characteristics, production process, desired product quality, and operating conditions. Small-scale preliminary trials are recommended before full-scale industrial application to establish the most effective dosage.
Storage
Store the product in its original tightly sealed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated environment, away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture. After opening, reseal the package immediately to prevent moisture absorption and maintain enzyme activity. Under recommended storage conditions, the product retains optimal performance throughout its shelf life.
