Description
Lipase NZs-BE-D003 is a high-performance acid lipase enzyme specially developed for leather processing and degreasing applications. It efficiently catalyzes the hydrolysis of triglycerides and other natural fats into smaller, water-dispersible molecules, enabling thorough and uniform removal of grease from hides and skins. The enzymatic action enhances leather cleanliness while minimizing the use of harsh chemical degreasing agents. This product is particularly suitable for acid leather, wet-blue leather, and fur processing. It delivers excellent degreasing performance on high-fat-content hides such as pigskin and sheepskin, helping improve subsequent tanning, dyeing, fatliquoring, and finishing operations. Thanks to its mild enzymatic action, lipase NZs-BE-D003 effectively removes excess grease without damaging collagen fibers, preserving the natural strength, softness, and grain quality of the leather. With excellent stability and compatibility, the enzyme can be used either independently or together with conventional degreasing auxiliaries to achieve higher processing efficiency and more consistent leather quality across a wide range of industrial leather manufacturing processes. The product is formulated for reliable performance under acidic processing conditions and contributes to more environmentally friendly leather production by reducing chemical consumption.

Benefits
Lipase NZs-BE-D003 is designed for a variety of leather processing operations where efficient fat removal is required. It offers several advantages, including:
- Efficiently hydrolyzes natural fats and oils, providing thorough and uniform degreasing.
- Improves penetration of tanning agents, dyes, and finishing chemicals for enhanced processing consistency.
- Helps prevent grease migration and oil bloom on finished leather products.
- Preserves leather fiber integrity while maintaining softness, flexibility, and natural grain appearance.
- Compatible with a wide variety of commercial degreasing formulations and auxiliary chemicals.
- Performs effectively across a broad operating temperature range of approximately 15 °C to 65 °C.
- Reduces dependence on aggressive solvents and surfactants, contributing to more sustainable leather manufacturing.
- Suitable for a wide range of leather types, including pigskin, sheepskin, goatskin, and cowhide.
Application Rate
The recommended dosage depends on the leather type, fat content, processing stage, and desired degreasing efficiency. As a general guideline (based on pelt weight), 0.20-0.50% is recommended for cowhide, 0.50-1.50% for pigskin and goatskin, and 0.50-2.00% for sheepskin with higher natural fat content. For optimum results, dosage should be adjusted according to raw material characteristics, equipment, processing conditions, and product quality requirements. Small-scale production trials are recommended before full industrial application to determine the most effective dosage for specific manufacturing processes.
Storage
Store the product in its original tightly sealed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated environment away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture. To preserve maximum enzyme activity, avoid repeated opening of the package and exposure to humid conditions. Under recommended storage conditions, the product maintains excellent stability with a typical shelf life of 12 months. Proper storage and handling will ensure consistent enzymatic performance throughout the product's service life.
