Description
Keratinase NZs-BE-A029 is a high-performance industrial enzyme preparation specifically developed for the efficient degradation of keratin-rich materials. Produced through advanced submerged fermentation and downstream purification technologies, this alkaline serine protease demonstrates excellent catalytic activity toward both soluble and insoluble protein substrates, including keratin, feathers, wool, hair, collagen, and casein. Designed for industrial and biotechnological applications, keratinase NZs-BE-A029 offers a reliable and environmentally friendly solution for protein hydrolysis, waste valorization, leather processing, feed enhancement, and enzyme-assisted formulation development. Its broad pH stability and strong temperature tolerance enable consistent performance across diverse processing conditions.

Applications
- Leather processing: Keratinase NZs-BE-A029 is widely used in eco-friendly leather dehairing and fiber modification processes. The enzyme selectively hydrolyzes keratin structures in hair while helping preserve the integrity of collagen fibers, reducing the need for aggressive sulfide-based chemicals.
- Animal feed: Keratinase NZs-BE-A029 improves protein digestibility and nutrient utilization in livestock and poultry feed formulations by hydrolyzing difficult-to-digest protein substrates.
- Detergent and cleaning formulations: The enzyme can be incorporated into specialty cleaning systems designed to remove proteinaceous residues, hair, and keratin-containing deposits from industrial equipment and processing surfaces.
Recommended Dosage
Recommended dosage may vary depending on substrate composition and process conditions. In animal feed, it is recommended to add 13-26 g of this keratinase per ton of complete feed. For optimal results, pilot-scale testing is recommended prior to large-scale industrial implementation.
Storage
Store the product in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated environment away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Keep the container tightly sealed after opening to maintain enzyme stability and activity.
