Description

Food-grade glucoamylase NZs-BE-B016 is a high-activity liquid enzyme specifically developed for the efficient hydrolysis of starch-based raw materials. It is produced through advanced submerged liquid fermentation technology using Aspergillus niger as the fermentation strain, followed by ultrafiltration purification to ensure high purity, stability, and consistent performance. This enzyme uses starch as its primary substrate. Under suitable processing conditions, it catalyzes the stepwise breakdown of both gelatinized and non-gelatinized starch. As a liquid formulation, the enzyme offers several practical advantages. It allows for accurate and convenient metering, rapid dispersion in the substrate, and uniform mixing throughout the reaction system. These characteristics help improve operational efficiency, reduce preparation time, and ensure stable enzymatic activity during processing. Furthermore, glucoamylase NZs-BE-B016 exhibits excellent operational stability across a wide temperature and pH range, making it well suited for diverse applications.

Applications

  • Alcohol and ethanol production: Glucoamylase NZs-BE-B016 is extensively used in the production of ethanol and other alcoholic beverages. It converts liquefied starch into glucose, providing fermentable sugars for yeast. This enhances alcohol yield and improves fermentation efficiency.
  • Food processing: In the food manufacturing industry, this enzyme is widely used for the controlled hydrolysis of starch-containing raw materials. It efficiently converts starch into glucose and other fermentable sugars, making it highly suitable for the production of syrups, caramel ingredients, confectionery bases, and various liquid sweeteners.

Recommended Usage

The recommended application rate of this enzyme is typically 0.4-1.0 kg per ton of raw material, with the exact dosage depending on the characteristics of the substrate, starch content, processing conditions, and the target level of sugar conversion. To achieve optimal performance, it is important to adjust the dosage according to specific production requirements and process design. The enzyme performs effectively within an operating temperature range of 30-65 °C and a pH range of 3.5-6.0, which provides flexibility for various applications. After the saccharification process is complete, the enzyme can be inactivated by heating the mixture to 95 °C for at least 30 minutes. Because raw material composition and production objectives may differ from one application to another, it is strongly recommended to conduct small-scale pilot trials to determine the most suitable dosage and operating parameters before full-scale production.

Storage

Store the product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture to maintain optimal enzyme activity. Keep the container tightly sealed after each use to prevent contamination and exposure to air or humidity. Under proper storage conditions, the product maintains stable activity throughout its shelf life. Slight sedimentation may occur in liquid formulations, which is normal and does not affect product performance; gently mix before use if necessary.
