Description
Cellulase NZs-BE-C005 is a high-performance food-grade cellulase enzyme preparation specially developed for botanical extraction and plant-based ingredient processing. By efficiently hydrolyzing cellulose and hemicellulose within plant cell walls, it promotes the release of valuable intracellular compounds, significantly improving extraction efficiency, product yield, and downstream processing performance. The enzyme is suitable for a wide range of botanical raw materials, including flowers, leaves, roots, stems, seeds, peels, and other cellulose-rich plant tissues. It is widely applied in the production of herbal extracts, functional food ingredients, natural pigments, nutraceuticals, beverages, and botanical concentrates. Compared with conventional extraction methods, cellulase NZs-BE-C005 enhances solvent penetration into plant tissues, accelerates mass transfer, reduces extraction time, lowers viscosity, and improves filtration efficiency. The result is cleaner extracts, higher recovery of active ingredients, and a more economical manufacturing process. Its excellent stability, high catalytic activity, and broad substrate compatibility make cellulase NZs-BE-C005 an ideal processing aid for both laboratory research and industrial-scale production.

Application Rate
- For grape juice clarification, the recommended dosage is approximately 0.05% based on the weight of the raw material. At this application level, Cellulase NZs-BE-C005 effectively hydrolyzes cellulose in grape tissues, reducing juice viscosity while promoting clarification and improving filtration efficiency. This helps increase juice yield and produces a clearer, higher-quality final product.
- For the extraction of berries and other red fruits, a dosage of approximately 0.05% is generally recommended. The enzyme facilitates the breakdown of plant cell walls, allowing for the enhanced release of natural pigments, anthocyanins, polyphenols, and other valuable bioactive compounds.
- For goji berry extraction, the recommended dosage is approximately 0.3% based on the raw material weight. This application rate effectively disrupts the cellular structure of goji berries, improving the release of intracellular components while reducing suspended solids. It also enhances filtration performance, improves extract clarity, and contributes to a more stable and efficient extraction process.
- For general botanical extraction, the recommended dosage typically ranges from 0.1% to 1.0% based on the dry weight of the botanical raw materials. The optimal enzyme dosage should be determined according to factors such as the type of plant material, cellulose content, particle size, extraction objectives, reaction time, processing conditions, and production scale.
Usage Instructions
For optimal performance, begin by preparing the botanical raw materials through cleaning, crushing, or grinding to increase the available surface area. Mix the prepared material with water or a suitable extraction medium according to the desired solid-to-liquid ratio, then adjust the extraction system to the recommended pH and temperature. Dissolve cellulase NZs-BE-C005 in a small quantity of warm water before slowly adding it into the extraction vessel with continuous stirring to ensure uniform distribution. Maintain gentle agitation throughout the enzymatic reaction and allow hydrolysis to proceed for approximately 1-3 hours, depending on the characteristics of the raw material and the extraction objectives. After enzymatic treatment is complete, continue with the standard extraction procedure, followed by filtration, concentration, purification, or drying as required. For complex botanical materials, the enzyme may be used in combination with pectinase, hemicellulase, protease, or other specialized enzymes to further improve extraction yield and processing efficiency.
Storage
Store the product in its original tightly sealed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated environment. Protect the product from direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture, and high humidity to preserve enzyme activity.
