Recommended Dosage
The recommended dosage of β-glucanase NZs-BE-C013 is generally 0.3-0.5% based on the dry weight of plant raw materials. The optimal dosage may vary depending on the botanical source, polysaccharide content, extraction method, and desired extraction efficiency.
Typical Processing Procedure
For optimal extraction performance, plant raw materials are typically pre-soaked in clean water at room temperature for approximately 30 minutes to ensure adequate hydration and improve enzyme accessibility. Before use, β-glucanase NZs-BE-C013 may be pre-activated by dispersing it in a small amount of water at approximately 40 °C for 5-10 minutes, allowing the enzyme to achieve optimal activity prior to application. The activated enzyme solution is then added gradually to the extraction system under continuous agitation to ensure uniform distribution. During enzymatic hydrolysis, appropriate temperature and pH conditions should be maintained to maximize catalytic efficiency. Under typical processing conditions, the enzymatic treatment is carried out for approximately 2 hours, although the actual reaction time may be adjusted according to the botanical material, cell wall composition, extraction objectives, and production process. Once enzymatic hydrolysis is complete, the treated material can proceed directly to conventional downstream operations such as extraction, filtration, concentration, and purification, resulting in improved extraction efficiency and higher recovery of valuable bioactive compounds.
Storage
Store β-glucanase NZs-BE-C013 in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated environment away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture. The product should remain tightly sealed after opening to prevent exposure to humidity and contamination. Under recommended storage conditions, the enzyme maintains optimal activity and stability throughout its shelf life.
