Description

Alkaline protease NZs-BE-A022 is a high-efficiency proteolytic enzyme that functions under alkaline conditions, delivering rapid and effective protein hydrolysis. It catalyzes the breakdown of complex protein macromolecules into smaller peptides and free amino acids, thereby significantly enhancing protein digestibility, improving nutrient availability, and reducing the loss of undigested proteins. This enzyme is widely applied in fermented feed production, especially beneficial in feed systems rich in plant-based protein sources, including soybean meal, rapeseed meal, cottonseed meal, and other high-protein raw materials. In such applications, the enzyme helps overcome limitations associated with protein accessibility and anti-nutritional factors, ensuring more efficient nutrient absorption and utilization.

Applications

  • Fermented soybean meal production. Alkaline protease NZs-BE-A022 is widely applied in the production of fermented soybean meal to enhance the efficiency of protein degradation during the fermentation process. By catalyzing the breakdown of complex soybean proteins into small peptides and free amino acids, the enzyme improves the quality and availability of fermentable substrates, thereby enhancing microbial activity. These results in more consistent fermentation performance, enhanced nutrient release, and improved overall product quality, contributing to higher-value fermented soybean meal with better digestibility and functional properties.
  • Fermented plant protein raw materials production. Beyond soybean meal, this feed-grade alkaline protease is highly suitable for use with a variety of plant-based protein raw materials, including rapeseed meal, cottonseed meal, peanut meal, sunflower meal, and other protein-rich substrates. Through efficient protein hydrolysis, the enzyme facilitates the release of smaller peptides and amino acids, which serve as readily utilizable nutrients for fermenting microorganisms.
  • Functional enzyme preparations. In addition to its role in fermentation, this liquid alkaline protease can be directly incorporated into livestock and poultry feed as a functional enzyme to enhance protein digestion and nutrient absorption. It assists in breaking down dietary proteins into smaller, more easily absorbed peptides and amino acids, thereby improving feed utilization efficiency. This is particularly beneficial during critical production stages such as early growth, weaning, environmental or physiological stress, and in high-density feeding systems where digestive capacity may be challenged.

Recommended Dosage

For the production of fermented soybean meal, the recommended dosage is 0.3-1.0 kg of the enzyme preparation per metric ton of soybean meal (calculated on a raw material basis). The optimal inclusion level may vary depending on several processing factors, including the protein content of the substrate, fermentation duration, operating temperature, moisture level, and the specific microbial strain system employed. To achieve the best performance, it is advisable to adjust the dosage based on actual production conditions and desired outcomes.

Storage

  • Store the product in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated environment, ensuring that the container remains tightly sealed when not in use to preserve its stability and activity.
  • It should be protected from direct sunlight, excessive moisture, and prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures, as these conditions may lead to a decline in enzyme performance.
  • To maintain product integrity, avoid contact or mixing with strong oxidizing agents and strong alkaline chemicals outside of the recommended processing conditions.
