Ultralight Graphene Aerogels

Ultralight graphene aerogels exhibit lower density, higher conductivity and larger porosity than conventional graphene aerogels. Because of these advantages, they are focused and studied in both scientific research and industry. Wang and co-workers[1] reported a novel class of ultralight graphene aerogels (2.5-5.8 mg/cm3) with a super absorption capacity of 350 times their own mass for oils and various organic solvents, which is much higher than the most reported absorption materials. Therefore, ultralight graphene aerogels offer potential for the development of a new generation of adsorption materials.
