Graphene aerogels, also known as aerographene, are extremely lightweight materials, seven times lighter than air and 12% lighter than aerographite (the previous record holder for being the lightest material)[1]. In more simple words, one cubic centimeter of graphene aerogels weighs just 160 g/m3. They are not only light in weight, but also have high elasticity and high adsorption. Therefore, graphene aerogels play an important role in many fields such as textiles, energy storage, biology, environmental protection fields.
