Aerogel Glass

Aerogel glass has a "sandwich" structure consisting of two pieces of glass filled with aerogel in between. It has the characteristics of low density, high temperature resistance, extremely low thermal conductivity (as low as 4 mW/m·K under vacuum), non-toxic, corrosion resistance, overall hydrophobicity, etc. In addition, aerogel glass has excellent sound insulation and thermal insulation characteristics, and the thermal insulation effect is 4-7 times higher than that of ordinary double-layer glass.
