Resveratrol-cyclodextrin-complex refers to the compound formed by the molecular encapsulation of resveratrol with cyclodextrin. Resveratrol is a naturally occurring polyphenol known for its various biological activities, including antioxidant properties. However, its applications are limited by its poor water solubility and low bioavailability. By forming an inclusion complex with cyclodextrin, these limitations can be addressed, thereby enhancing the characteristics of resveratrol.
