Catalog Number CD-PL09
Description The fluoresceinyl moiety is located at C(6). The unlabeled cyclodextrins contain a single amino moiety attached on the primary hydroxyl rim. The product is hygroscopic. The fluorophore (5/6 isomeric mixture) is attached on the primary hydroxyl rim of the cyclodextrin, via a chemically stable thioureido group. The fluorophore labeled macrocycle content is ~ 1% w/w. The unlabeled cyclodextrins contain a single amino moiety attached on the primary hydroxyl rim. The amino groups increase the solubility of the polymer if compared to the neutral analogue and can be a potential place for further modification of the structure. The cooperative interactions of the CD-based polymeric network increase the possibility of solubilization of large substrates, while the fluorescent label makes the compound trackable. The product is highly water soluble.
