Description | The fluoresceinyl moiety is located at C(6). The product is highly hygroscopic and dried to constant weight under 100 mbar vacuum at 50 ˚C. The fluorophore (5/6 isomeric mixture) is attached on the primary hydroxyl rim of the cyclodextrin, via a chemically stable thioureido group. Carboxymethylation is random, but almost exclusively on the secondary hydroxyl rim. All carboxymethyl moieties are in salt form. The material is water soluble. |
