| Description | The fluoresceinyl moiety is located at C(6). The product is highly hygroscopic and dried to constant weight under 100 mbar vacuum at 50 ˚C. The fluorophore (5/6 isomeric mixture) is attached on the primary hydroxyl rim of the cyclodextrin, via a chemically stable thioureido group. Each cyclodextrin ring contains a fluorescent unit. The material is water soluble. The product can be easily dissolved in DMF, DMSO and pyridine, but precipitates in acetone. |
