Known as an aliphatic tertiary amine, Tris(2-dimethylaminoethyl)amine is a quadridentate ligand and hexamethyl derivative of (2-aminoethyl)amine, also referred to as trenMe, and it can be synthesized using a modified version of Ristempart's method.
