Application
The purpose of (R)-1-[(SP)-2-(Dicyclohexylphosphino)ferrocenyl]ethyldi-tert-butylphosphine is to serve as a versatile ligand in various catalytic processes. It facilitates palladium-catalyzed hetero cross-couplings, particularly aiding in the reaction between aryl bromides or aryl triflates and potassium thioacetate to produce S-aryl thioacetates. Additionally, it is employed in palladium-catalyzed C-N, C-S, C-O cross-couplings, and Kumada couplings involving aryl and vinyl tosylates. Furthermore, this ligand is effective in rhodium-catalyzed procedures, assisting in hydroacylation of cyclopropenes for enantioselective desymmetrization, as well as coupling imidazole derivatives with terminal allenes. For ruthenium-catalyzed reactions, it supports the C-C coupling of alkynes and alcohols to produce branched carbonyl allylation products.
