Description
Platinum (II) chloride can be used to catalyze the cyclization of 1-(indole-2-yl)-2,3-allenols to form polysubstituted carbazoles. It is also used in studies involving metalation of aromatic compounds. Platinum (II) chloride is a catalyst used for a variety of C-C bond, C-O bond, and C-N bond formation.
