Application
N-Acetylethylenimine is a clear, colorless liquid designed specifically for the inactivation of foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) and poliovirus, facilitating the preparation of virus vaccines. This compound effectively neutralizes the viruses while preserving the essential biological properties of several proteins, ensuring that the inactivation process renders the viruses harmless. Notably, inactivated FMDV treated with this compound is absorbed and uncoated by BHK cells with the same efficiency as a non-treated virus, confirming that the viral proteins responsible for attachment and uncoating remain unaffected.

Effective Inactivation for Viral Research

I used Alfa Chemistry's N-Acetylethylenimine for inactivating foot-and-mouth disease virus in our vaccine development. It maintained protein integrity, ensuring accurate results during subsequent BHK cell experiments. Highly reliable for virology research!
