Application
Methanesulfonato(2-dicyclohexylphosphino-2',6'-bis(dimethylamino)-1,1'-biphenyl)(2'-amino-1,1'-biphenyl-2-yl)palladium(II), 98% [CPhos Palladacycle Gen. 3] is designed to serve as a highly effective catalyst for diverse cross-coupling reactions. Synthesized as a modification of a previous generation precatalyst through methylation of the amino group on its biphenyl backbone, this catalyst, developed by Buchwald and colleagues, exhibits excellent solubility in various organic solvents and remarkable stability. Its versatility extends to facilitating C-N bond formation and achieving high selectivity in the cross-coupling of secondary alkylzinc reagents with heteroaryl halides. Additionally, it provides completely linear-selective Negishi cross-coupling of allylzinc halides with aryl and vinyl electrophiles, highlighting its broad applicability and efficiency in complex chemical transformations.
