Application

Iron(III) Oxide Nanoparticles, also known as hematite, are primarily composed of ferric oxide (Fe2O3) and serve versatile applications due to their synthetic origin and purified composition. These nanoparticles possess excellent durability and a low chroma red hue, making them an efficient and cost-effective pigment. Their uses span from coloring products such as paints, ceramics, rubber, and cosmetics, to applications in more technical fields like electronics for resistors, semiconductors, and magnetic tapes. Additionally, due to their chemical stability and reactivity, these nanoparticles are utilized as catalysts and polishing agents for glass, precious metals, and diamonds.
