Additionally, it plays a key role in borylation and the Suzuki-Miyaura coupling process. This compound is also employed in tetraborylation reactions and facilitates the ortho-silylation of aryl ketone, benzaldehyde, and benzyl alcohol derivatives through C-H activation. One of its most significant applications is in asymmetric hydroboration, which requires high regio- and enantioselectivity.
