Application
Chloro(2-dicyclohexylphosphino-2',6'-diisopropoxy-1,1'-biphenyl)[2-(2'-amino-1,1'-biphenyl)]palladium(II) is designed as a versatile precatalyst for facilitating various palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions. Its utility lies in forming C-C, C-N, and C-O bonds, specifically through Suzuki-Miyaura coupling and Pd-catalyzed aryl amination reactions. This compound generates an active palladium catalyst at room temperature in the presence of weak phosphate or carbonate bases, making it efficient for fast reactions. Moreover, it is particularly effective in the preparation of fluoro-substituted diazatetracenes and diazapentacenes. As a second-generation precatalyst featuring a biphenyl-based ligand, it enhances reaction speed and efficiency in synthetic applications.
