Application
Bis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(II) diacetate serves as a versatile catalyst primarily used to facilitate carbon-carbon bond formation through various coupling reactions such as Sonogashira, Negishi, Heck, and Suzuki. Additionally, it catalyzes the synthesis of pyrido[1,2-a]benzimidazole derivatives via electro-oxidative intramolecular C-H/N-H annulation, the formation of α, β-unsaturated carboxylic acids through the hydroxycarbonylation of vinyl triflates, and the production of secondary imides by enabling C-H functionalization of aldehydes with various N-substituted N-heteroarene-2-carboxamides.
