Application
Allyl[1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene]chloropalladium(II) serves as a versatile yellow crystal catalyst with multiple applications in chemical reactions. It is particularly effective in facilitating the arylation of ketones, Suzuki coupling, and Buchwald-Hartwig amination reactions. This air-stable, well-defined palladium N-heterocyclic carbene complex also excels in the dehalogenation of aryl chlorides, oxidation of secondary alcohols, and cross-coupling of aryl chlorides with boronic acids. Additionally, it acts as a catalyst for the diamination of conjugated dienes and trienes, promotes anaerobic alcohol and ketone oxidation, and enables domino oxidation/α-arylation processes.
