Application

Furthermore, it serves as a supporting ligand in chiral diamine-ruthenium systems for the enantioselective hydrogenation of ketones. Its utility extends to palladium-catalyzed amination and Kumada cross-coupling, and it's instrumental in synthesizing butatrenes and chiral allenylsilanes. With iridium, it facilitates C-C cross-coupling through hydrogen transfer reactions involving allenes, dienes, and allylic gem-dicarboxylates with primary alcohols or aldehydes.
