Application
The purpose of [1,3-Bis(2,6-di-i-propylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene][bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide]gold(I), min. 95%, is to serve as a highly selective gold(I) catalyst for several key chemical transformations. It facilitates hydroaminations and is integral to the hydroarylating cyclization of 1,2-bis(2-iodoethynyl)benzenes. This catalyst is also employed in the carbocyclization of phenols with terminal alkynes and plays a vital role in intermolecular C-H activation through the gold(I)-catalyzed reactions of iodoalkynes. Additionally, it is used in reactions involving ynamide with benzyl azides, providing a versatile approach for various organic synthesis applications.
