It facilitates reactions such as Suzuki-Miyaura coupling and Stille cross-coupling with aryl halides, including both bromides and chlorides. Additionally, it is active at room temperature when combined with weak phosphate or carbonate bases, making it particularly useful for synthesizing sterically hindered biaryls and compounds like chloropeptin I. Its utility extends to Heck and Negishi cross-coupling reactions, as well as the Suzuki coupling of brominated 2,1-borazaronaphthalenes with potassium organotrifluoroborates, showcasing its broad applicability in complex organic syntheses.
